Leadership Chester County Accepting Applications for its 2021/2022 Class

Leadership Chester County (LCC), Chester County’s premiere professional development program, is now accepting applications for its 2021-2022 class.

Leadership Chester County fosters a vibrant, safe and inclusive community by preparing business leaders to guide nonprofit organizations as board members. Participants explore complex social and community issues, develop leadership potential, form lasting professional relationships, and connect with local nonprofit organizations, positioning them to lead and network in our community. Graduates gain valuable business, leadership and entrepreneurial skills, broadened understanding of the local socio-economic landscape and new perspectives in management, planning and strategic thinking. The course meets in full weekday sessions every 3 to 4 weeks from October to May and the deadline to apply is September 30, 2021.

“140 organizations-global corporations, local companies and firms, nonprofits and government agencies have sponsored participants and contributed expertise, facilities and services to support the program over its 20-year history”, said Mary Anne Feeley, Director of Leadership Chester County. “Chester County’s business community has joined the United Way enthusiastically in providing leadership to the nonprofit sector to sustain its strong, high quality service organizations.”

The LCC program is administered and facilitated by Chester County United Way with guidance from an Advisory Council and additional resources from its partners, West Chester University and Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry.
