Chester County United Way Announces Annual Live United in Music Event

Featuring national recording artist Alexandra Kay

Grab your country western boots and join Chester County United Way at its annual Live United in Music event on Thursday September 29th at Penn Oaks Golf Club, featuring national recording artist Alexandra Kay. This event, presented by Citadel Credit Union, will benefit the Chester County United Way Community Impact & Innovation Fund.

Generating millions of plays weekly on her videos, Alexandra Kay commands the attention of country music fans. With a voice reminiscent of Dolly Parton, Alison Kraus and Leanne Womack, she is bringing country music back to its roots. The young singer/songwriter has accomplished a multitude of career milestones to date, including her appearance on NBC The Voice, a starring role in the Netflix Original Series ‘Westside’ and reaching the number one spot on the iTunes country chart independently with releases “I Kinda Don’t, All The Cowboys, and That’s What Love Is.” Her singles “We Wouldn’t Be Us” debuted at #3 on the iTunes country chart, and “How Do We Go” at #2. Alexandra just wrapped up a 17-show tour with Tim McGraw.

Chester County United Way President & CEO Christopher Saello said “we are beyond grateful to Citadel Credit Union for returning as our Presenting Sponsor for the eighth consecutive year. This partnership allows us to continue to host this annual event that benefits our neighbors in need.” The Lead Sponsors for this year’s event include CCRES, CTDI, Di & Dallas Krapf and Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital.

Tickets are $200 per person and include a cocktail reception with an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, and performance ($175 of the cost is tax deductible).
